These Terms contain important information regarding limitations of our liability. Your access to and use of this Website is conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Website.
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you do not have our permission to access or use the Website.

Accessing the Website
You are responsible for obtaining internet access and any associated costs to use the Website. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Website at any time without notice. We are not liable for delays or failures due to causes beyond our control, including acts of war, natural disasters, outages, or governmental actions.

Health, Fitness, & Medical
All participants must complete all required health and medical forms honestly, accurately, and completely prior to participating in any Avventura Vida Consulting retreat or travel experience. By booking, you acknowledge and agree that Avventura Vida Consulting is not responsible or liable for your health, vaccinations, or any medical needs before, during, or after your travel experience.
Many of our retreats include physically demanding activities and take place in international or remote locations. It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically fit and to consult with a qualified medical professional regarding fitness to travel, required vaccinations, and personal health precautions. Any health-related issues or incidents are your sole responsibility. We may provide information and guidance, but ultimate responsibility and liability lies with the participant.
Failure to complete required forms or provide accurate health disclosures may result in cancellation of your booking without refund. We strongly recommend consulting your physician before participating in any physical activity and maintaining up-to-date vaccinations per your destination's requirements.

Our Offers and Pricing
We offer services on this Website. Pricing for services is customized based on your needs and will be provided after consultation. Pricing does not include taxes or other applicable fees. All services are subject to availability and may be changed, updated, or discontinued at our discretion.

Purchases
All purchases are processed by third-party payment processors including HoneyBook, Stripe, PayPal, QuickBooks, and Xero. We are not responsible for the collection, use, sharing, or security of your billing information by such providers. Accepted methods may include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and bank transfer.
A credit card processing fee may be charged and will be clearly stated in your invoice or proposal at the time of payment. By submitting payment, you agree to the outlined fees and conditions.
You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use your chosen payment method and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

User Accounts
If you create an account on our Website, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information. We reserve the right to terminate your account at our discretion.

Payment & Deposits
All deposits are non-refundable for retreats and curated travel experiences hosted or planned by Avventura Vida Consulting. This includes planning fees related to vendors, suppliers, custom itineraries, events, or retreats. All relevant terms will be outlined in your proposal and/or service contract.
Due dates for payments may vary based on destination and currency considerations, but generally payments are due 180 to 90 days prior to the retreat or trip. Unless stated otherwise, failure to pay the remaining balance by the specified deadline will result in cancellation without refund.

Refunds and Cancellations
Planning fees and deposits for any retreat, trip, or custom experience are non-refundable under any circumstance. If a refund is requested within the first 24 hours of booking a retreat hosted by Avventura Vida Consulting, a refund minus the credit card processing fee may be granted at our discretion unless work has already begun on your experience. Planning fees remain non-refundable unless no work has been completed on your booking at all.
Each travel and retreat experience is unique and may have its own refund and cancellation policy, which will be clearly outlined in your contract or proposal. By making a payment, you agree to these terms and assume responsibility to read and understand them in full.
Terms and conditions from third-party suppliers, vendors, or retreat venues also apply and may vary depending on destination and currency. These will be shared with you, and you are responsible for complying with those terms. We facilitate communication and ensure you are informed, but are not responsible for refund terms of external vendors.
All trip, retreat, and event payments are typically collected 90 to 180 days in advance. Because of this, comprehensive travel insurance that covers the full cost of the experience is mandatory. It does not need to include flights, though we recommend including them.
If a retreat is postponed by Avventura Vida Consulting, guests may opt to transfer to new dates or receive a refund for the cost of the retreat. For those who join rescheduled dates, standard cancellation policies will apply to the new dates.
If a participant has not completed required forms or responded to outreach within 30 days of the retreat, we reserve the right to cancel their reservation without refund.


Advance Payments
We may require an advance payment for certain services to cover upfront costs. Advance payments are non-refundable if you cancel. If we cancel, we will issue a refund of any advance payments made.

Travel Insurance Requirement
Travel insurance is mandatory for all retreats and custom travel experiences planned by Avventura Vida Consulting. You must obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers the full cost of the trip to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to trip cancellation, delays, medical emergencies, and baggage loss. Proof of insurance may be required prior to departure.

Shared Bookings
Bookings may be accepted where a solo traveler requests to share a room with another solo traveler. While we will try to accommodate specific roommate requests, we cannot guarantee availability or compatibility. If no roommate is available by the final payment date (typically 90 days prior), the solo traveler must pay the single supplement. If a suitable roommate is later found, the difference will be refunded.

Fluid Pricing
Our pricing may vary based on factors such as market conditions and promotions. As a result, different clients may pay different prices for similar services. All current pricing will be clearly stated in your proposal and is subject to change without notice until fully paid.

Airline Schedule Changes
We are not responsible for changes or disruptions in airline schedules. Any resulting costs, missed accommodations, or rescheduling needs are the sole responsibility of the traveler.

Travel & Accommodation Vendors
Hotels, transportation, and other services may be provided by third-party vendors. While we choose reputable providers, we are not liable for their actions. Their terms and conditions apply to your experience, and liability is limited to that of the supplier.

Travel Documents & Taxes
It is your responsibility to obtain and maintain valid passports, visas, and any required travel documents. You are also responsible for any taxes or fees incurred due to your travel arrangements.

Images and Marketing
By attending an Avventura Vida Consulting experience, you consent to being photographed or filmed by our team or fellow participants. We may use these images or recordings for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes. You grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use such media in all formats and media channels now known or later developed.

No Warranty on Purchases
All services and items are provided “as is.” We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability.

Liability
Avventura Vida Consulting is not responsible for damages, expenses, losses, or claims resulting from your actions, the actions of third parties not under our control, or force majeure events (e.g., weather, natural disasters, pandemics).

Personal Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions related to the services we provide. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Avventura Vida Consulting, its owner Maria Herrera, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your use of our services or participation in our experiences.

No Users Under 18
Our Website and services are intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on this Website.

Educational and Informational Use Only
All information provided is intended for educational or informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or medical advice. Any decisions made based on our content or services are your responsibility.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Avventura Vida Consulting and its affiliates, partners, and employees from any loss, damage, liability, or claim resulting from your use of the Website or our services.

Termination
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Website and/or Services at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Dispute Resolution
Should any dispute arise, you agree to resolve any claim or controversy through Mediation in Los Angeles County, California, under the guidance of the American Arbitration Association. If not resolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration. Arbitration fees and associated costs, except attorney fees, will be shared equally.

Effect of Headings
Headings in these Terms are included for convenience and do not affect the meaning or interpretation of any provision.

Waiver
Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative.

Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without prior written consent from Avventura Vida Consulting.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Website indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
